Bake all cakes, pastries and desserts at the bakery
Participate in designing and improving recipes
Measure and combine ingredients using mixers, blenders, heat sources, and other equipment to make baked goods.
Make frostings that would be used in the bakery
Liaise with the store keeper for documentation of all raw materials used in the kitchen and stored in the freezer
Testing ingredients and finished goods to ensure that each item meets food safety requirements.
Taking client information from the administrative officer and ensuring that specifications are met accurately and on time.
Ensure the cleaning of the workstation and that all equipment is sanitized and prepared for next order execution.
Direct and supervise the assistant baker’s activities to make sure that products are up to standard.
Assess the quality of raw materials before baking.
Conduct research to develop self originated recipes.
Ensure that baking utensils and equipment are properly handled and stored.
Track profitability by maintaining an up to date record of baking operations.
Requirements
Lowest educational qualification is OND.
Someone that has at least 2 – 3 years experience in a similar role.
Has good communication skills, demonstrates creativity, has excellent listening skills, and is detail-oriented.
Hardworking, smart and can work in a fast paced environment, has basic numeracy skills and excellent time management skills.
Must be living in close proximity to the bakery in bodija Ibadan.
