We are seeking a dedicated Software Quality Assurance (SQA) Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring the quality and performance of our software products by leveraging both manual and automated testing techniques. You will focus on stress testing, regression testing, end-to-end testing, and maintaining robust testing frameworks.
Key Responsibilities:
1- Perform manual testing for thorough analysis of software functionality, usability, and compatibility.
2- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for both new and existing software applications.
3- Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks and scripts to streamline the testing process.
4- Conduct stress and performance testing to ensure system reliability and scalability under heavy loads.
5- Perform regression testing to validate the functionality of software updates and patches.
6- Carry out end-to-end testing to verify that the entire system works seamlessly across multiple components.
7- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and UX designers, to understand requirements and provide actionable feedback.
8- Analyze test results, document defects, and provide detailed reports to the development team for resolution.
9- Continuously improve testing processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance overall software quality.
10- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and best practices in software quality assurance.
Qualifications:
1- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
2- Minimum of 3 years of experience in software quality assurance.
3- Strong understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies.
4- Proficiency in test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG) and scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript).
5- Experience with stress testing and performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).
6- Familiarity with bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail).
7- Hands-on experience in end-to-end and regression testing.
8- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
1- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
2- Knowledge of CI/CD processes and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab).
3- Expertise in API testing and tools (e.g., Postman, SoapUI).
4- Relevant certifications (e.g., ISTQB, CSTE) are a plus.
