As an Animal Groomer at Petcare Animal Hospital, you will provide professional grooming services including bathing, hair trimming, nail clipping, ear cleaning, and more – ensuring every pet receives gentle, high-quality care.
Key Responsibilities
Perform grooming services such as bathing, brushing, trimming, shaving, nail trimming, and ear cleaning
Handle pets with kindness, care, and patience to ensure a stress-free grooming experience
Communicate effectively with pet owners to understand grooming preferences and special care requirements
Monitor pets for signs of skin issues, infections, or abnormalities and report concerns to veterinary staff
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of grooming tools, equipment, and the grooming area
Keep detailed grooming records for each pet, including services rendered and behavior notes
Ensure adherence to all safety and hygiene protocols
Work closely with veterinary staff and other departments to ensure coordinated pet care
Comfort pets with gentle restraint techniques when necessary.
