Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (MBA or M.Sc. is an added advantage).
ICAN, ACCA or equivalent professional certification is mandatory.
Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, with at least 3 years in a senior financial role within the oil & gas industry.
Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, and tax laws.
Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks, Sage).
Excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
High level of integrity and attention to detail.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

Liaise with external stakeholders such as auditors, banks, and regulatory bodies.
Manage a team of finance professionals.
Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
Monitor and manage budgets, forecasts, and cash flows.
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and tax laws applicable to the oil & gas industry.
Supervise accounts payable/receivable, payroll, general ledger, and banking activities.
Coordinate internal and external audits.
Provide financial insight and analysis to support strategic decisions.
Implement and maintain internal control systems.
