Financial Management:

Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger.
Ensure the timely preparation and accuracy of financial statements.
Monitor cash flow, budgets, and financial forecasts.

Compliance and Audit:

Ensure compliance with local tax laws, regulations, and reporting requirements.
Coordinate internal and external audits and address any identified issues.
Maintain and enforce adherence to accounting standards

Leadership and Team Management:

Lead, mentor, and supervise the accounting team.
Provide training and development opportunities for team members.

Strategic Planning and Analysis:

Conduct financial analysis to provide insights and recommendations to senior management.
Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and manage budgets and cost-control measures.
Contribute to financial strategies to support organizational goals.

System and Process Optimization:

Evaluate and improve accounting systems, processes, and controls.
Implement new technologies or tools to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Qualifications and Skills

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA, CMA, or ACCA certification preferred).
Experience: 5 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 5 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
Technical Skills: Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, among others) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel expertise required).
Knowledge: Thorough understanding of accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards.
Soft Skills: Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills. Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines under pressure.
