Join ipNX, Nigeria’s leading telecom provider, as an Outside Plant (OSP) Supervisor and help drive reliable service delivery across our fiber network.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise daily maintenance and management of the fiber optic outside plant (OSP) across metro and long-distance routes.
Ensure service restoration for Corporate Clients within 3 hours and Retail Customers within 12 hours.
Lead and execute preventive maintenance activities to enhance network performance and reduce downtime.
Coordinate FOS activations within 3 days of sign-up and oversee customer satisfaction reporting.
Provide detailed, timely updates and reports on incidents, fiber audits, and weekly operational status.
Support network documentation (as-built/as-maintained) and assist with Right of Way (ROW) processes with local authorities.
Education & Skills:
B.Sc. or HND in Telecommunications, Engineering, or Applied Sciences.
Hands-on experience with fiber splicing, OTDR testing, light source/power meter usage, and VFLs.
Familiar with FTTx, P2P networks, and fiber architecture/splice plans.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, Visio, AutoCAD, and GIS tools (a plus).
Strong reporting and communication skills.
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in telecoms, with a specific focus on fiber deployment and OSP maintenance.
Knowledge of civil works supervision and ROW applications with local regulatory bodies is required.
