Develop, implement, and monitor quality control standards and procedures in line with industry regulations and company policies.
Ensure all food products comply with safety, nutritional, and labelling requirements.
Conduct regular inspections of raw materials, production lines, and finished goods to ensure quality standards are consistently met.
Verify that all outlets adhere to Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) principles and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
Conduct routine checks on product preparation and handling processes to ensure compliance with hygiene and sanitation standards.
Oversee equipment and environmental sanitation processes, ensuring alignment with regulatory standards.
Ensure compliance with recipes, portion sizes, and presentation standards across outlets.
Perform regular on-site inspections of restaurant outlets to monitor adherence to quality and safety standards.
Conduct internal audits and support external audits to meet regulatory and certification requirements.
Prepare detailed reports on inspection findings and follow up on corrective actions.
Train staff on quality control protocols, food safety standards, and best practices for consistency and excellence.
Organize workshops and refresher courses on regulatory updates, quality improvements, and operational efficiency.
Identify and address quality issues promptly, implementing corrective and preventive measures.
Collaborate with production staff, suppliers, and management to improve processes and product quality.
Develop and execute strategies to minimize waste and optimize production efficiency without compromising quality.
Maintain comprehensive records of quality checks, inspections, and audits.
Prepare and present periodic quality control performance reports to management.
Develop and update quality assurance manuals and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Evaluate and approve suppliers based on quality standards and delivery timelines.
Monitor inventory for expired or non-compliant products and ensure timely removal.
Collaborate with procurement teams to source high-quality raw materials.
Qualifications
Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree with 2 – 4 years of experience.
