We are seeking a results-driven Water Engineer Supervisor to support the operation and compliance of water treatment systems used in pharmaceutical production.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with water treatment in a regulated manufacturing environment and a solid understanding of industry standards.
This role bridges technical operations and compliance assurance, making it essential to maintaining the quality and safety of our water systems.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise daily operations of RO and DI water systems to ensure a continuous, reliable water supply.
Oversee the maintenance and troubleshooting of water treatment equipment.
Monitor and document critical water quality parameters (pH, conductivity, TOC, microbial limits, etc.).
Assist in system validation and documentation to meet GMP and regulatory expectations.
Collaborate with the QC and Engineering teams for routine water sampling and testing.
Enforce SOPs and ensure all water systems comply with WHO, USP, and NAFDAC standards.
Maintain accurate logs and reports for audits and inspections
Regular maintenance of utility machines/equipment in the area of control
Rectification of breakdown of utility machines/equipment
Qualifications & Experience
B.Eng. or HND in Chemical, Mechanical, or Environmental Engineering
Minimum 1 – 3 years’ experience in water systems in a pharma or food manufacturing environment
Key Competencies
Good Knowledge of backwashing of water treatment units.
Knowledge of water treatment maintenance
Information Technology skills
SCADA knowledge is an advantage
Understands environmental impact assessment
