Roles & Responsibilities
Inventory Management:
Maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing materials.
Perform regular stock checks and reconcile with physical inventory.
Monitor stock levels and notify the procurement team when reordering is necessary.
Ensure proper storage conditions (e.g., temperature, humidity) for various items.
Receiving Goods:
Inspect goods upon arrival for quantity and quality.
Ensure proper documentation (e.g., delivery notes, invoices, GRNs) is completed.
Label and store received items in designated storage areas.
Carry Product from the Bus to the warehouse
Packing & Dispatch:
Pack products accurately and securely according to specifications.
Ensure packaging materials are available and properly used.
Label packages correctly with shipping and product details.
Coordinate with logistics for timely dispatch and delivery.
Order Fulfillment:
Pick and pack items according to customer or production orders.
Ensure orders are complete, accurate, and well-presented before dispatch.
Assist with loading and unloading delivery vehicles when required.
Warehouse Organization:
Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the store and packing area.
Organize storage areas for easy access and safety.
Implement FIFO (First-In, First-Out) or other inventory rotation methods as needed.
Documentation & Reporting:
Keep records of materials in and out of the store.
Generate daily, weekly, and monthly stock reports.
Report damaged or expired items promptly.
Compliance & Safety:
Adhere to company policies and safety regulations.
Ensure that all materials are stored safely to prevent accidents or damage.
Participate in safety drills and basic training as required.
Coordination:
Liaise with procurement, production, sales, and logistics teams for smooth operations.
Assist in audits and physical verification of stock when required.
Requirements
The candidates should possess a minimum of SSCE / GCE / NECO qualification with 1 – 2 years work experience.
