We are recruiting on behalf of a reputable farm committed to sustainable agriculture and operational efficiency. We are seeking a skilled and trustworthy Internal Auditor to assess and strengthen internal controls, ensure compliance, and support financial accountability across the farm’s operations.
Job Description
Conduct regular audits of the farm’s financial records, inventory, payroll, and procurement processes
Evaluate internal controls and identify areas for improvement
Ensure compliance with financial regulations, internal policies, and industry standards
Perform physical verification of stock, equipment, and assets
Prepare and present detailed audit reports with actionable recommendations
Monitor the implementation of audit findings and corrective actions
Collaborate with relevant departments to promote transparency and efficiency
Requirements
B.Sc. or HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
Professional certification (e.g., ICAN, ACCA) is an added advantage
Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in internal auditing, preferably in an agribusiness or similar setting
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and auditing procedures in a farm setting is desirable.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
High level of integrity and attention to detail
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting tools
Familiarity with farm operations is a plus
