She Code Africa Scholarship is focused on celebrating and empowering young Girls and Women in Technology across Africa. She Code Africa Scholarship aims to build an Africa where women are equally represented across all career roles in Technology and embodies technical growth, networking, mentorship and visibility amongst all level career roles in Technology.
She Code Africa is a community that is focused on celebrating and technically empowering young girls and women in technology across Africa. Our community consists of over 10000 members with active members across Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya, Zimbabwe, Uganda, South Africa, Cameroon, Cote D’Ivoire, Rwanda, Liberia and counting.
The training is a 5 months intensive program on the following fields;

This Scholarship is a 5-month / 20-week intensive programme that will offer you an opportunity to gain the job-ready skills you need to kick off or advance your tech career with no prior relevant experience or degree required. Your participation in this programme will afford you access to community support from fellow learners and monthly check-in calls by the SCA Team to facilitate a thriving learning environment for you and employability workshops geared towards helping you secure internship roles. After completing the programme, a career certificate will be issued to you.
Requirements
Be an active member of the She Code Africa Community (sign up here: www.shecodeafrica.org. Please note that our community membership application review process typically spans one week, during which your application must demonstrate sufficient credibility for it to be approved).Be able to show proof of foundational knowledge or skills in chosen trackPossess a working Laptop and have access to internet connectivity for the full duration of the program Be able to complete chosen course within 5 months / 20 weeksBe available for monthly check-in calls Applicants who are beginners or at entry or mid-levels of their chosen tech tracks will be given priority consideration.
