The 2025 edition of the Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB) Annual National Undergraduate Essay Competition has begun. The program which is now in its ninth edition, is a flagship annual academic exercise sponsored by the NCDMB to promote academic excellence amongst undergraduates in public and private tertiary institutions in Nigeria, as well as creating awareness for the youths who are the real drivers of the Nigerian content initiative.
The program is designed to inspire Nigerian youths to build capacities and competencies to prepare them to participate effectively in the Nigerian oil and gas industry, and develop the talent to create value from that opportunity.
Benefits
The star prize for the first prize winner is N1,000,000, and all the top ten finalists are to go home with a laptop each.
Requirements
Applicant must be studying in any Nigerian University
