Requirements
To be considered for the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy PhD Scholarship, you must:
Be Singapore Citizens, Singapore Permanent Residents, or International Students
Be intending to pursue any graduate programme at Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy
Have at least 2 years of work experience
Have an academic background in Social Science and a deep interest in international affairs.
Possess a relevant Master’s degree.
Benefits
Before passing the PhD Qualifying Examination, Singapore Citizens receive a monthly stipend of SGD S$2,800, while Singapore Permanent Residents receive SGD S$2,400, and International Students are awarded SGD S$2,200.
After successfully passing the Qualifying Examination, the stipend increases to SGD S$3,300 for Singapore Citizens, SGD S$2,900 for Singapore Permanent Residents, and SGD S$2,700 for International Students.
The award is typically granted for a duration of three years, providing stable financial support during the program.
