The UCD School of Medicine Scholarship offers a full study opportunity that includes tuition and living stipends for candidates to pursue a Master’s by research in Ireland.
Eligibility Requirements
To be considered for the UCD School of Medicine Masters Scholarship, you must:
Essential:
BSc in biochemistry, cell biology or related a science discipline
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skillscombined with a proven ability to work well in a team and todevelop collaborative relationships
Desirable:
Previous experience in a research laboratory environment

Responsibilities
Complete experiments in a timely and efficient manner using cell and molecular biology approaches
To conduct and plan own scientific work with appropriate supervision
Contribute to the design of future experiments
Be organised and maintain excellent records of experimental work
Accurately analyse data generated
Engage in appropriate training and professional development activities
Contribute to dissemination of project results
Assist and support other group members with their research activities and contribute to running of the lab
