To oversee production and quality control operations in a plastic manufacturing plant (food flasks and thermowares), ensuring efficiency, safety, and product quality while maintaining compliance with standards.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise daily production to meet targets and schedules.
Develop and implement production schedules, ensuring optimum utilization of manpower, machines, and materials
Manage and monitor injection and blow molding machines, ensuring optimal performance.
Enforce quality control procedures for raw materials, in-process, and finished goods.
Investigate quality issues and implement corrective actions.
Ensure compliance with safety, food-grade, and regulatory standards.
Lead, train, and evaluate production and quality teams.
Prepare reports on production output, efficiency, downtime, and quality metrics.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Production/Industrial Engineering or related field.
3 – 5 years’ experience in production/quality supervision within plastic manufacturing.
Strong knowledge of injection molding and blow molding processes.
Familiarity with ISO, GMP, HACCP, and quality management systems.
Leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
