Responsibilities
Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Manage general ledger accounts and ensure accuracy of financial data.
Oversee accounts payable, receivable, and bank reconciliations.
Monitor budgets, forecasts, and cost controls for multiple projects.
Ensure timely tax filings (VAT, WHT, CIT) and regulatory compliance.
Liaise with auditors, tax authorities, and other financial institutions.
Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets.
Provide financial analysis to support strategic decision-making
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Professional certification: ICAN, ACCA, or equivalent (mandatory).
Minimum of 10 years of Accounting experience, preferably in real estate or construction.
Strong knowledge of IFRS and Nigerian tax laws.
Proficiency in accounting software (Sage, QuickBooks, ERP systems).
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
