Job Description
We are seeking a highly experienced furniture designer with deep site and design coordination experience.
Ideal candidates will have strong technical drawing skills, site supervision experience, and can work autonomously while leading junior designers.
Key Responsibilities
Site Work:
Take exact site measurements for furniture layouts and production
Coordinate on-site visits across Nigeria
Furniture Design:
Create and digitalize furniture designs (wardrobes, kitchens, doors)
Maintain and grow a digital furniture library
Produce detailed technical drawings using AutoCAD or Palette CAD
Layouts & Production:
Design floor plans and elevations
Generate accurate cutting lists using Microsoft Excel
Team Collaboration:
Lead junior designers
Participate in concept design and communicate design ideas to clients and staff
Strategize design direction with high attention to aesthetics and functionality
Tools Required:
Strong command of AutoCAD (2D & 3D), 3D Max, Palette CAD (if available)
Qualifications
Minimum 8 years experience in a similar furniture design role
Must be able to work independently and responsibly
Willingness to travel across Nigeria
Proven team leadership skills
