They are seeking a professional who will lead the financial advisory division of the institution, be responsible for delivering high-value strategic, transactional, and investment advisory services to clients.
The ideal candidate will possess deep market insights, exceptional leadership capabilities, and a strong track record in corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), capital raising, and investment advisory.
Responsibilities
Lead the design and execution of financial advisory mandates, including capital raising, M&A, business valuations and restructuring.
Manage client relationships, ensuring high-quality service delivery and client satisfaction.
Oversee the origination and structuring of deals, working closely with investors and business owners.
Build and mentor a team of analysts and associates, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.
Drive business development efforts and contribute to the firm’s growth strategy.
Represent the firm at key meetings, industry events, and negotiations as required.
Requirements
Minimum of 10 years’ relevant experience in investment banking, financial advisory, or corporate finance.
CFA, ACA, MBA or a relevant postgraduate degree in Finance will be an added advantage.
Strong track record of leading and closing complex financial transactions.
Advanced knowledge of financial modelling, valuations, investment memos, and deal structuring.
Proven leadership experience and ability to manage both clients and internal teams.
Strong network of investors, financiers, and industry players.
Passionate about working with SMEs and contributing to Africa’s economic growth.
