Role Overview:
The Graduate Trainee will join our intensive 12-month training program designed to provide hands-on experience and foundational knowledge in the maintenance, diagnostics, and operation of SANY’s heavy machinery.
This role is ideal for driven, ambitious, and hands-on mechanical engineering graduates who are eager to kickstart a rewarding career in the heavy equipment industry.
The successful candidate will work closely with experienced SANY engineers, gaining both theoretical and practical expertise.
Key Responsibilities
Participate in intensive theoretical and practical training sessions on SANY products, including Excavators, Graders, Rollers, and Articulated Dump Trucks (ADTs).
Shadow and assist senior engineers on client project sites, observing and learning about equipment installation, commissioning, and on-site troubleshooting.
Get hands-on experience with equipment maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs at SANY maintenance workshops.
Learn about the mechanical structure, electronic circuits, and hydraulic systems of SANY equipment.
Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and procedures on-site and in the workshop.
Document and report on technical findings and progress during training.
Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment.
Qualifications and Requirements
A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field from a recognized institution.
0-2 years of post-NYSC work experience.
Strong foundational knowledge of mechanical principles, hydraulics, and basic electronics.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Demonstrated willingness to learn and a proactive, can-do attitude.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
