Job Summary
We are looking for a qualified and enthusiastic Librarian to manage our school library, support students’ research and reading needs, and collaborate with teachers to integrate library resources into the curriculum.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the library collection, including books, journals, and digital resources.
Develop and implement library programs and services that support students’ research and reading needs.
Collaborate with teachers to integrate library resources into the curriculum.
Provide instruction and guidance to students on research skills, information literacy, and critical thinking.
Maintain a welcoming and inclusive library environment that promotes reading and learning.
Participate in library-related professional development opportunities.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Library Science, Education, or a related field.
2 – 5 years relevant experience in library management and instruction.
Strong knowledge of library management systems, databases, and digital resources.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, students, and parents.
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree in Library Science or a related field.
Experience with international curricula and diverse student populations.
Knowledge of library technology and digital tools.
