Classroom Instruction:
Deliver lessons that inspire curiosity and critical thinking, making the subject matter accessible and relevant to students.
Utilize effective teaching methodologies, technology, and resources to enhance the learning experience.
Assessment and Evaluation:
Prepare and submit question banks on the scheduled date.
Design and administer assessments to measure students’ understanding of the subject.
Provide constructive feedback to students on their academic performance, identifying areas of improvement and recognizing achievements.
Student Engagement and Support:
Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages active participation and collaboration.
Provide additional support to students who require assistance, addressing individual learning needs.
Collaboration and Professional Development:
Collaborate with colleagues to integrate cross-disciplinary approaches and contribute to the overall school curriculum.
Engage in ongoing professional development activities to stay informed about educational trends, advancements, and best practices within the subject area.
Communication:
Maintain open and effective communication with the principal, vice principal- academics, students, and colleagues regarding students’ progress, behavior, and academic achievements..
Classroom Management:
Establish and enforce a positive and structured classroom environment conducive to learning.
Implement effective classroom management strategies to address behavioral issues and maintain a respectful atmosphere.
Continuous Improvement:
Reflect on teaching practices, seek feedback, and actively participate in self-evaluation to enhance professional growth.
Contribute to school-wide initiatives and collaborate with peers to continuously improve the overall educational experience for students
Any other additional responsibility as may be assigned by the primary head and management.
Requirements
Interested candidates should possess an HND / B.Sc / M.Sc Degree with relevant experience.
