Job Summary
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Real Estate Lawyer with a strong background in property law to join our dynamic real estate firm.
The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of real estate transactions, land documentation, property acquisitions, leases, legal due diligence, and dispute resolution.
Requirements
LL.B degree from a recognized institution and called to the Nigerian Bar
Minimum of 3 years post-call experience in real estate and property law.
Strong understanding of land documentation processes
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.
Strong negotiation, analytical, and legal drafting skills.
Other Requirements:
Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating real estate contracts and other legal documents.
Conducting legal due diligence on property titles, deeds, and land use rights.
Representing the company in legal proceedings, property disputes, and negotiations.
Liaising with government agencies for property registration, title perfection, and compliance.
Handling litigation and dispute resolution related to land, tenancy, and ownership issues.
