Manage fleet operations by scheduling vehicles and drivers, ensuring timely deliveries, and optimizing route efficiency.
Coordinate vehicle maintenance by planning regular servicing, overseeing repairs, and maintaining roadworthiness across all fleet assets.
Ensure regulatory compliance with transport laws, licenses, insurance, and safety standards, keeping all documentation up to date.
Supervise and support drivers, including recruitment, performance monitoring, shift planning, and enforcing safety protocols.
Control operational costs by monitoring fuel usage, tracking expenses, and improving vehicle utilization to reduce waste.
Generate fleet performance reports and analyze data to recommend improvements in efficiency, cost savings, and asset management.
Job Requirements
Minimum of a First Degree in Supply Chain Management,Transport / Logistics,Computer Science, Information Technology or any related discipline.
3 – 5 years of experience required.
Proven experience in vehiclet racking.
Experiential knowledge of the transportation and haulage industries would be an added advantage.
