To manage and operate the water treatment systems to ensure a consistent supply of high-quality water for production processes, while complying with environmental regulations and maintaining efficient and safe operations.

Principal Accountabilties

Operates and monitors water treatment systems, including filtration, chemical dosing, and purification processes to ensure a continuous and reliable supply of high-quality water for production processes.
Conduct regular sampling and testing of water quality parameters to verify that water meets required standards and specifications.
Performs routine maintenance and minor repairs on water treatment equipment to maintain optimal performance and prevent equipment failures.
Maintain accurate logs of water treatment operations, including test results, and maintenance activities to support compliance and facilitate continuous improvement.
Identify and resolve issues with water treatment systems promptly to minimize downtime and enhance continuous operation.

Job Requirements
Education:

Minimum requirement: Minimum of an ND in a Science-related field.

Added advantage
Experience:

Minimum requirement: 0 – 2 years of experience in a lab or as a WTP operator.
