We are seeking a skilled IP Engineer to design, implement, and support IP-based network infrastructure for seamless data, voice, and video transmission. The ideal candidate will ensure network reliability, security, and high performance across core and access layers.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, configure, and maintain IP/MPLS network infrastructure.
Monitor network performance and troubleshoot routing, switching, or connectivity issues.
Implement and manage routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.
Support integration of IP transport for voice (VoIP), data, and mobile services.
Perform network upgrades, patches, and capacity planning.
Ensure network security through proper access controls and firewall configurations.
Document network topology, configurations, and changes.
Provide support for network incidents and escalations.
Requirements:
Degree or HND in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics, or related field.
2–5 years experience in IP networking, preferably in telecom.
Strong understanding of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VLANs, and QoS.
Relevant certificates (e.g., CCNP, JNCIP) are an added advantage.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
