We’re seeking a qualified and experienced School Guidance and Counselor to join our team at our school located in Ogudu Ojota.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in education and counseling, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities
Provide guidance and counseling services to students, addressing their academic, social, and emotional needs
Develop and implement guidance and counseling programs to support student development
Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to identify and support students’ needs
Conduct individual and group counseling sessions, workshops, and seminars
Maintain accurate records and reports on student progress and counseling services
Contribute to the development of school policies and procedures related to guidance and counseling
Requirements
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Education, Guidance and Counseling, or a related field
Teaching qualification (NCE, B.Ed, or equivalent)
Experience:
Minimum 5 years of experience as a teacher
Experience as a Head of School or Administrator an added advantage
Skills:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong counseling and guidance skills
Ability to work with students, teachers, and parents
Strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to teach with a strong class management
