Overseeing the preparation of management accounts and periodic financial reports to support strategic decision-making.
Monitoring and evaluating the financial performance of all organizational profit centres, identifying trends and advising on improvements.
Ensuring compliance with financial reporting standards and strict adherence to reporting deadlines.
Supervising accounts receivable, accounts payable, and payroll processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
Advising on and ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulatory requirements.
Maintaining comprehensive financial records and implementing efficient document management systems.
Providing high-level bookkeeping and advisory services to clients across various sectors.
Conducting detailed analysis of clients’ financial records, identifying discrepancies, and implementing corrective actions.
Reviewing and approving bank and other reconciliation statements to ensure integrity of financial data.
Overseeing the proper recording and classification of all issued and received invoices to ensure completeness and accuracy of accounting records.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or any related field.
Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience.
Must be a Chartered Accountant
Working knowledge of basic accounting principles and practices.
Working knowledge of relevant state, federal, and local regulations.
Proficiency in MS Office and popular accounting software.
