A Faculty Trainer Officer will be responsible for designing, delivering, and evaluating training programs for faculty, often focusing on professional development and instructional techniques.

Key Responsibilities

Assessing training needs, developing materials, facilitating workshops, and evaluating the effectiveness of training initiatives.
Identifying the training needs of faculty, including skill gaps and areas for improvement.
Creating and updating training curricula and materials, including presentations, workshops, and online modules.
Facilitating training sessions, workshops, and webinars, either in-person or online.
Developing effective training strategies and materials that align with learning objectives and learning principle.
Assessing the effectiveness of training programs through feedback, assessments, and data analysis.
Providing guidance and support to faculty on instructional techniques and best practices.
Working with other faculty, staff, and stakeholders to ensure training programs meet the needs of the institution.
Maintaining accurate records of training participation, progress, and evaluation results.

Qualifications

A Bachelor’s Degree is typically required, with a master’s degree or advanced certification preferred.
Prior experience in teaching, training, or instructional design is highly desirable.

Skills:

Strong communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
Knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional techniques.
Proficiency in using learning management systems (LMS) and other training software.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong organizational and project management skills.
