The Medical Doctor is responsible for providing high-quality patient care, diagnosing and treating medical conditions, and promoting health and wellness.
Key Responsibilities
Patient Care:
Conduct medical examinations and diagnose patients.
Develop and implement treatment plans.
Prescribe medications and therapies.
Medical History:
Take medical histories and update patient records.
Diagnostic Testing:
Order and interpret diagnostic tests (e.g., lab, imaging).
Treatment and Management:
Manage chronic conditions (e.g., diabetes, hypertension).
Provide preventive care (e.g., vaccinations, screenings).
Communication:
Communicate with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
Educate patients on healthy habits and disease management.
Collaboration:
Collaborate with healthcare professionals (e.g., nurses, specialists).
Continuing Education:
Stay updated on medical advancements and best practices.
Requirements
Interested candidates should possess a B.Sc Degree in Medicine with 2 – 5 years work experience.
Medical licensure.
Post NYSC experience
Strong clinical and communication skills.
