As an Asset Officer, you will be responsible for the effective management, maintenance, and optimization of company assets to ensure operational efficiency. Your duties will include:

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain an accurate asset register, ensuring all equipment, machinery, and facilities are properly tracked.
Oversee procurement, allocation, and disposal of manufacturing assets.
Conduct regular audits and inspections to verify asset conditions and compliance with company policies.
Work with maintenance teams to schedule preventive maintenance and repairs, reducing downtime.
Ensure asset compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and environmental policies.
Prepare asset performance reports, analyze data, and recommend cost-saving initiatives.
Manage insurance policies for high-value machinery and coordinate risk assessments.
Support budget planning and financial forecasting for asset-related expenses.

Experience Required:

2-5 years of experience in asset management, inventory control, or procurement, preferably in a manufacturing setting.
Strong understanding of equipment lifecycle management, maintenance planning, and cost optimization.
Experience in using asset-tracking software or ERP systems for record-keeping.
Knowledge of industry regulations, compliance requirements, and safety standards related to manufacturing assets.
Proven ability to analyze asset performance, generate reports, and support strategic decision-making.

Skills & Competencies:

Strong knowledge of asset management best practices.
Proficiency in asset-tracking software (ERP, SAP, or other relevant tools).
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong organizational and record-keeping abilities.
Ability to collaborate with procurement, maintenance, and finance teams.
