We provide services, expertise and resources to both the private and public sectors through our deep knowledge of issues specific to industries and sectors.We are seeking a secretary who will be the cornerstone of legal and compliance operations, bringing extensive expertise and leadership to the team.
This role is critical for managing confidential information, coordinating complex schedules, and providing strategic support to senior executives. By mentoring junior staff and fostering an efficient work environment, the senior secretary will drive the bank’s objectives in legal compliance and technological innovation, contributing significantly to the bank’s success.
Transcribe and document high level meetings, ensuring legal accuracy and attention to detail.
Provide administrative support to senior management, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and organizing files.
Supervise junior secretarial staff and provide mentorship.
Manage confidential client and financial information with the utmost discretion.
Coordinate complex schedules, travel arrangements, and meeting logistics for senior executives.
Support senior legal executives with advanced administrative tasks, including project management and compliance reporting.
Compile and verify documentation for loan applications, ensuring accuracy and completeness
Requirement
Bachelor’s or HND degree in Law or related field.
Must have between 10-15 years’ experience with a focus on mortgage banking or related financial services.
A certificate would be an added advantage (e.g. ICSR)
Extensive knowledge of mortgage banking regulations, and legal procedures
Proven track record of effective communication and organizational skills.
Expertise in MS Office Suite, transcription tools, and legal software.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities.
