We are looking for a detail-oriented and licensed Pharmacist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for dispensing medications, advising patients on proper use, ensuring regulatory compliance, and maintaining accurate records. This role requires strong ethical standards, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
Dispense prescription and over-the-counter medications accurately and efficiently
Review and interpret physician prescriptions to ensure accuracy and appropriateness
Educate patients on correct medication usage, side effects, interactions, and storage
Maintain up-to-date patient medication records and ensure confidentiality
Monitor and manage pharmaceutical stock, ensuring proper storage and avoiding expiries
Ensure compliance with all applicable pharmaceutical regulations and guidelines
Collaborate with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care
Supervise and support pharmacy technicians and other staff
Provide exceptional customer service and address patient inquiries professionally
Stay informed on the latest pharmaceutical research, drug approvals, and health trends
Qualifications:
Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) or Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D) degree
Valid license to practice as a Pharmacist from the relevant regulatory authority
Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a retail or hospital pharmacy setting
Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Proficiency in pharmacy management software and systems
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks
Preferred:
Prior experience working in a community pharmacy or supermarket pharmacy setup
Familiarity with inventory management and insurance claim processes
Certification in pharmacovigilance or public health is an added advantage
