The Production Officer is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the production lines.
This role ensures high-quality output, adherence to safety and hygiene standards, and efficient resource utilization.
The Production Officer plays a key role in achieving production targets, minimizing downtime, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
Rresponsibilities
Supervise daily production activities across assigned shifts or production lines.
Ensure adherence to production schedules and output targets.
Monitor and control processing parameters to maintain product quality.
Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards (e.g., HACCP, GMP, FSSC 22000).
Coordinate with Quality Assurance team to address non-conformance and implement corrective actions.
Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleanliness, proper equipment functioning, and staff compliance.
Supervise and coordinate the work of production operators andfactoryworkers.
Maintain production records and generate daily reports on output, downtime, and labor utilization.
Monitor raw material usage and minimize waste.
Enforce company health and safety policies.
Qualifications / Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Food Technology, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
2 – 4 years of experience in food manufacturing, preferably in snacks or fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG).
Strong understanding of production planning, process control, and quality systems.
Strong leadership and people management skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP software.
Shift work may be required, including nights or weekend.
