To support our next phase of growth, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Team Lead to join our team
Key Responsibilities
Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and bills of quantities.
Manage and control project costs, ensuring adherence to budget.
Prepare tender and contract documents.
Evaluate and negotiate contracts with suppliers and subcontractors.
Monitor project progress and provide regular cost reports.
Identify and analyze potential risks and implement cost-saving measures.
Value completed work and process payments.
Prepare final accounts and negotiate settlements.
Provide advice on contractual and commercial matters.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Building technology, Construction Management.
Masters will be an added advantage.
Minimum of 6 years proven experience as a Team Lead or Supervisor in the Building Construction industry
Extensive knowledge of construction methods, techniques, and materials.
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, plans, and specifications.
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Ability to solve problems, make decisions, and manage conflicts effectively.
Thorough understanding of Nigerian building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards.
Proficiency in use of Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software
