REPAIR OPTIONS
Responsible for efficient planning and controlling the operations connected with the Rental Supervisor Workshops & Repair Options section. Effectively manage teams of technicians on scheduled maintenance jobs that may be field and/or site based. Ensure procedures are followed and customer expectations are met in all sectors using Caterpillar products.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Proactively & efficiently plan and control all contract jobs to ensure prompt execution without financial loss to the business.
Manage teams of engineers to ensure correct maintenance regimes are adhered to, comprehensive inspections are followed and detailed reports are submitted.
Supervise Rental Fleet overhaul (gas and Diesel) both in Workshops & Field while Monitoring the run hours.
Manage Parts required for overhaul and ensure core is returned afterwards.
Liaise with sales and marketing to ensure MANCRM is kept to date and all reworks are performed as required.
Ensure graduate trainee daily &monthly appraisal forms are completed as required by the training department.
Expected to visit customers to follow up on contract opportunities and dealing with customer complaints.
Ensure contract engineers comply with company safety policies and regulations are implemented and maintained.
Ensure contract engineers take care of company assets and that they are effectively controlled and maintained.
Carry out technical support functions as may be required in the interest of the business.
Provide cover for other management & supervisory roles during leave, training, and absences.

PERSON SPECIFICATION:
B.SC/B.ENG or HND in Electrical/Electronic Engineering (plus training in Marketing and Sales Management) with at least five (5) years relevant experience
