The AV Project Manager will oversee the project execution and engineering operations in their region. This role encompasses leading the project management team and providing technical oversight to AV System Integrators, ensuring that projects are delivered with excellence and that innovative solutions are provided to clients.

Key Responsibilities

Lead regional project development from conception through completion, ensuring alignment with business goals.
Craft comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and budgeting.
Communicate project objectives to team members and stakeholders effectively.
Allocate tasks and responsibilities among Project Administrators and AV System Integrators.
Manage project dependencies and critical paths.
Schedule project timelines and milestones using project management tools.
Generate progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations.
Address scope changes proactively, identifying potential issues and developing contingency plans.
Implement a structured communication plan for timely updates to clients on procurement and project milestones.
Develop and enforce regional strategies that align with the highest industry standards and practices.
Exhibit outstanding leadership and provide mentorship to the engineering team, promoting a culture of professional excellence.
Collaborate with supply chain management to ensure efficient procurement aligned with project schedules.
Manage compliance with all applicable local regulations and safety standards on project sites.
Oversee the regional budget, optimizing costs without compromising on quality or efficiency.
Perform project post-mortems to extract lessons learned and implement improvements.
Establish and refine project execution and management best practices.
Mentor and guide AV System Integrators in delivering high-quality technical solutions.
Provide Project Valuation reports to clients, articulating the value delivered at each stage of the project lifecycle.

Commitment to ongoing personal professional development in AV and automation through regular attendance at AVIXA, CEDIA, or OEM-specific trainings.
Responsibility for ensuring that the regional engineering team obtains and maintains necessary industry certifications, staying current with evolving technology and practices.

Desirable Skills

Strong leadership skills with an ability to inspire and develop a high-performing engineering team.
Deep understanding of the latest trends and technologies in the AV and automation industry.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or related field.
Active Project Management Certification – PMP, Prince2 or equivalent.
Active CTS-D (Certified Technology Specialist – Design) certification from AVIXA or ESC-D from CEDIA is an added advantage.
Proven track record in managing complex AV and automation projects or similar projects.
