We are looking for a competent Public Relations (PR) Specialist to shape and protect our corporate image in ways that promote our business, values and mission.
You will manage our company image in a cohesive way to achieve our marketing goals.
Responsibilities
Formulate PR plans, strategies and support the implementation of promotional plans.
Enhance the company’s voice and presence through online and offline channels.
Perform research on current benchmark trends and audience preferences while monitoring SEO and web traffic metrics.
Design and implement social media strategy to align with business goals.
Write press releases, speeches and other PR copy.
Plan and supervise events, fairs, conferences.
Oversee social media accounts’ design (e.g. Facebook timeline cover, profile pictures and blog layout). Communicate with followers, respond to queries in a timely manner and monitor customer reviews.
Stay up-to-date with current technologies and trends in social media, design tools and applications.
Facilitate the resolution of disputes with the public or external vendors and present solutions in times of PR crisis.
Requirements
Interested candidates should possess an HND / Bachelor`s Degree with 2 – 4 years work experience.
Proven experience as public relations specialist, social media manager or similar position
Experience in copywriting and editing
Working knowledge of MS Office; photo and video-editing software is an asset
Familiarity with social media platforms (Twitter, Facebook etc.)
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Excellent skills in presentation and public speaking
Solid knowledge of SEO, keyword research and Google Analytics
Knowledge of online marketing channels.
