We are seeking a Technical Project Manager with a background in electrical or telecommunications to join our team in Lagos.
The ideal candidate should possess basic Project Management (PM) and Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) certificates.
Previous experience in the solar industry is not required.
Responsibilities
Project Management:
Plan, execute, and oversee technical projects from inception to completion.
Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and progress reports.
Technical Expertise:
Utilize technical knowledge in electrical or telecommunications to manage project requirements and deliverables.
Coordinate with technical teams to ensure alignment and successful project outcomes.
Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE):
Implement and enforce HSE standards and practices across all project activities.
Conduct regular HSE audits and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
Communication and Reporting:
Liaise with stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and team members, to provide project updates and address issues.
Prepare and present project reports to senior management and stakeholders.
Problem Solving and Risk Management:
Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
Resolve project issues and conflicts promptly to ensure smooth project execution.
Requirements
Education and Certification:
Technical background in electrical or telecommunications.
Basic Project Management (PM) certificate.
Basic Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) certificate.
