Job description
Receives and maintains details inventories of materials and supplies located in the company’s Warehouse.
Maintains required stock of materials to optimize production.
Analyzes current inventories and procedures; suggests improvements to increase efficiency of the warehouse.
Adhere to quality and safety codes; implements subsequent changes to processes.
Fill requisitions, order or request for raw materials, tools or other stock items.
Move materials off racks and package for dispatch
Place materials on pallets/shelves for distribution
Records quantity/amounts of materials or items received
Maintains materials/facilities and records
Sorts materials according to size, type, color or code
Compile inventory balances and price lists
Track expiry dates on items
Identify damage, loss or surplus of materials in warehouse
Comply with company inventory management standard
Compile activities reports
Performs other tasks as assigned.
