The Operations Finance role is responsible for the end-to-end process of settlements and reconciliation of PayU Nigeria financial data as well as Merchant data.
This role is the link between Global accounting and local financial data by providing accuracy and insight to ensure alignment.
What You will be Doing
Reconciliation of Merchant transactions
Analysis of Merchant transactions
Verification and alignment of settlement of merchant data
Resolution of any reconciliations issues or settlement issues that may arise
Responsible for communication with local banks
Ensuring accuracy of settlement data
Providing business with detailed reporting
Consolidate reporting for month end process
Collaborate with global finance team to ensure accurate and timely month end close.
Provide audit support.
What are We Looking for?
PayU is looking for a candidate that has the relevant University Degree (Finance/Economics/Analytics/Accounting)
Minimum of 1-3 years’ experience in a similar role or finance related role
Excellent excel skills and exposure to global financial tools
Ability to work within deadlines.
Excellent analytical skills
