We are seeking motivated and eager individuals to join our team as Solar Technician Trainees.
This entry-level position offers the opportunity to learn and develop skills in the installation, maintenance, and repair of solar photovoltaic (PV) systems.
As a trainee, you will work under the guidance of experienced solar technicians and engineers to gain hands-on experience in the solar energy industry.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in the installation of solar PV systems on residential, commercial, and industrial sites.
Learn to troubleshoot and repair solar PV systems to ensure optimal performance.
Participate in safety training and adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines.
Help with the layout and assembly of solar modules, panels, and support structures.
Support the electrical wiring of solar PV systems, including the installation of inverters and other system components.
Perform routine maintenance and inspections of solar PV systems.
Keep accurate records of installations, maintenance, and repairs.
Assist in inventory management and preparing materials and tools for job sites.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or coursework in electrical, mechanical, or related fields is a plus.
Strong interest in renewable energy and sustainability.
Basic understanding of electrical systems and principles.
Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions.
Good physical condition with the ability to lift heavy equipment and perform manual labour.
Willingness to learn and follow instructions from experienced technicians.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
