We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Procurement Engineer to join our dynamic team in the energy sector.
The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing materials and services necessary for our operations.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering and procurement, with up to 5 years of experience in the field.

Responsibilities

Sourcing and Procurement:

Identify and evaluate suppliers for quality, price, delivery speed, and reliability.
Develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure cost-effective and timely acquisition of materials and services.
Negotiate contracts, terms, and conditions with suppliers.

Supplier Management:

Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors.
Monitor supplier performance and conduct regular reviews to ensure compliance with company standards and requirements.
Resolve any issues related to supplier performance, delivery, or quality.

Technical Evaluation:

Collaborate with engineering and project management teams to understand technical requirements and specifications.
Conduct technical evaluations of products and services to ensure they meet company standards and project requirements.
Assist in the development of technical documentation and specifications for procurement activities.

Cost Management:

Analyze market trends and conditions to identify cost-saving opportunities.
Prepare cost estimates and manage budgets for procurement activities.
Track and report on procurement costs and savings.

Compliance and Documentation:

Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date procurement records, including contracts, purchase orders, and supplier correspondence.
Prepare and present reports on procurement activities, supplier performance, and cost savings.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
Up to 5 years of experience in procurement, preferably in the energy or engineering sectors.
Strong understanding of procurement processes, supplier management, and contract negotiation.
Technical knowledge of engineering materials, equipment, and services.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
