Production Architect / CNC Operator (Corper) at Yardoak

Read and interpret architectural drawings and blueprints to program and operate CNC machines for precision cutting.
Work closely with designers and engineers to ensurepieces are produced according to specifications and design intent.
Set up, calibrate, and operate CNC machines, ensuring they run efficiently and produce high-quality output.
Monitor machine operations, make necessary adjustments, and perform quality checks to maintain production standards.
Perform routine maintenance on CNC machines to ensure they remain in optimal working condition and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
Maintain a safe and clean working environment by following all safety protocols and guidelines.
Understand the properties and best uses of various furniture materials to ensure optimal machine settings and production techniques.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, Industrial Design, Engineering, or a related field.
2 – 4 years relevant work experience.
Proven experience operating CNC machines in a furniture manufacturing or similar setting.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints, and experience with CAD/CAM software.
Strong attention to detail and precision in work to ensure the accurate production of furniture components.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Knowledge of furniture construction materials and processes is a plus.
