Romanian Agency For Investment and Foreign Trade (ARICE) announces the launch of the file selection process for awarding a number of 40 scholarships to foreign citizens to study in Romania starting from the academic year 2024-2025

Exemption from the payment of registration fees or any other fees required by application processingFinancing the tuition expenses for the Romanian language preparatory year;Financing the tuition expenses for the actual studiesGranting a monthly stipend, for students enrolled in the Romanian language preparatory year;Granting a monthly stipend, for students enrolled in bachelor’s, master’s or doctoral studiesFinancing the accommodation expenses in the student dormitoriesMedical assistance in case of medical-surgical emergencies and diseases with endemic-epidemic potentialLocal public, ground, naval and underground transport, as well as domestic car, railway and naval transport
Requirements
Be a foreign student preferably outside of the EU and EFTAPossess the relevant documents to apply for a Bachelors, Masters, or PhD degree.Be eligible to take a preparatory language course if you do not understand Romanian.
Selection Process
The ARICE selection committee, appointed according to legal procedures, will select the candidates, based on the documents submitted to the file, until July 15, 2024 at the latest, after which it will publish the result of this intermediate selection stage on the institution’s website at: https:/ /arice.gov.ro/1/burse-2024The final decision to award the scholarships will be taken by the Ministry of Education, based on its own selection criteria, the final results of the selection process being announced on the ARICE website and communicated by email to the selected candidates.The Ministry of Education, through the General Directorate of International Relations and European Affairs, will issue the Acceptance Letters / Enrollment Orders, as the case may be, until the start of the 2024-2025 academic year.

Method of Application
In the period March 1 – May 31, 2024, 23:59 Romanian time, application files for scholarships awarded by the Romanian state for the academic year 2024-2025 will be sent only in electronic format, to the email address: burse2024@arice.gov.ro
