The goal of the Zumunta Association National Scholarship Program (ZNSP) is to provide financial support to qualified Northerners who are interested in pursuing a baccalaureate (bachelor’s) degree in selected areas of education in Nigerian universities.
Requirements
Must hail from one of the Nineteen Northern States and the Federal Capital Territory.Must have gained admission into a degree program at a Nigerian university recognized by the National University Commission (NUC).Must have passed the JAMB (or equivalent) exam with a qualifying score or possess valid WAEC (or equivalent) results.Must demonstrate financial need through appropriate documentation.
Selection Process
Applicants will be evaluated based on the following criteria:
Letter of admission into a recognized Nigerian university degree program.Passing grade in JAMB (or equivalent) or valid WAEC (or equivalent) results.Demonstration of financial need through appropriate documentation.Submission of a two-page essay on the “Importance of the chosen field of study to Northern Nigeria.”
